the source for textures that i suggested before was *thespook, but there are many other people who submit them as well. it's actually one of the DA categories. you can click the "browse" button and look for the category "textures" to look through them.
another thing i forgot to mention - if you use stock photography or textures submitted by another deviant, it's good give them credit in your description. so when you're collecting textures or photos that you like, keep track of who you get them from.
